Why having a Braiding license in 2019 is important

A Braiding license in 2019 is important because you cant work legally or make top dollars as a stylist until you are licensed! The state of Florida has ruled that you must take the hair braiding 16 hour course before you can work in hair salons.  You must know the fundamentals of safety, communicable diseases, sanitation along with Florida Law before touching a customer. By being knowledgable about your work environment, you will be able to offer a clean and safe environment for your guest when they arrive for their hair services.

The state sends people to your place of business called “State board Inspectors”. They walk into your salon to make sure that everyone is licensed and is following the states guidelines for sanitation. If you are caught working without a license you will be fined!  The fee is $500 to you and the salon owner! Please don’t take that risk. Getting a license can help you in many ways to take your career to the next level.
